Hack Saw

A hacksaw abrasive refers to a hacksaw blade made with abrasive materials instead of traditional metal teeth. Unlike standard hacksaw blades that cut using serrated metal teeth, abrasive hacksaw blades are embedded with hard abrasive grains such as silicon carbide or aluminum oxide. These grains grind through materials rather than cutting them in the conventional sense.
Abrasive hacksaw blades are ideal for cutting hard, brittle, or non-metallic materials that would quickly dull or damage a toothed blade. Common applications include cutting ceramics, glass, hardened steel, composites, tile, and masonry. Because they don’t have teeth, abrasive hacksaw blades provide a smoother cut on delicate materials and reduce the risk of chipping or cracking.
